During its 15 years long run, ER remained as one of the finest dramas of NBC Network and also one of the best loved medical A of television history. ER very intelligently balanced cutting edge medical presentation while adding more brilliant stuff to the show was character interaction and fast paced action. As of now, when we all know that NBC Network has announced that the current season, means the 15^th season of the show, is the last land mark to be touched and there will be no more ER after the 15 season finale.

And, I think that as series is coming to an end so they’re planning to bring back the ones who’ve been a part of the show once and the name which comes to my mind is Alex Kingston. The lady had been a part of ‘ER’ for seven consecutive seasons as a regular star cast member Elizabeth Corday. She departed early in the 2004-05 season. And now, when ER is preparing to close its doors, we’ll again see her as a guest star. I guess in the near future, we’ll see all popular faces of ER that left the drama due to some reasons. The lady will reprise her role on Thursday Jan 15. A little light on the episode she’s supposed to appear on: This episode will center on Neela, who has a recurring dream about trying to save a patient suffering from sickle cell anemia.

As the lady was gone for four successive years, so I think, it’d be hard for her to return to the same space which she held from 1997-2004. But, still I am very excited to see her returning on ‘ER’. Other old star cast members who’re likely to return are: Noah Wyle and Eriq La Salle. La Salle will return as a director.
