I used to watch the television series ‘ER‘, with great interest because I am also into the profession of medicine. I work in a trauma centre, and have to face the consequences of disasters and accidents, in the form of victims of the same events, who fight for their lives, with the help of the doctors, and other staff members of the trauma center.

My friend, Kelly, is a nurse in the same trauma centre, and has a great liking for actor George Clooney, whom we all have loved in the character of Dr. Doug Ross on ‘ER‘. We often tease her that she should be working under him, in ER, since Dr. Doug Ross is shown as a womanizer, and would surely have taken a fancy for her.

The actor celebrated his 48^th birthday on 6^th May. Incidentally, Kelly shares her birthday with the star. So when while surfing the internet, I came across some photographs from the actor’s childhood, I sent a few of them, to Kelly, who has a big crush on the actor. After all what better gift could I give her on her special day?

You know what; today I am going to share a secret with you all, about which I have never confessed to anyone, including my friend. And the secret is that I am also a huge fan of George Clooney. And even though it is quite late, I wish a belated happy birthday to George Clooney. I also wish him all the happiness and success in life.

Even though he left the medical drama ER, a long time ago, I still feel that his portrayal of Dr. Ross has been one of his most magnificent performances till date. He is now busy working on the projects ‘The Fall of Bob‘, a black comedy drama, and ‘The Man Who Stare at Goats’.

We felt worried about him when he met with an accident, two years back. But after he has recovered, all his fans heaved a sigh of relief.
