Yeah, the prince charming of thousands of American teenage girls is planning to get married. The latest news had reported that he and his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, MTV presenter, would soon tie the knot. It’s also said that he has asked his dream girl to move into his main home Studio City pad in Los Angeles.

The Daily Express quote says, “George has really fallen for Eli and wants her back with him in LA on a permanent basis. It’s obviously a big step, particularly as George has been such a free spirit for so long. But it seems she really could be the one for him. Whether she goes along with the idea remains to be seen”.

Well, if it goes as planned, George Clooney, the 48 year old, would have to give away his status as a bachelor. Elisabetta Canalis, the 30 year old babe, is among the luckiest women of the world. George is never married and was last year seen with Sarah Larson. The couple soon parted their ways. He has been dating Elisabetta since last July. George Clooney doesn’t like to share his personal life with media. As per his thinking, his personal life would be no way personal if it’s shared with people all around the world.

I will not know either my exact diagnosis or course of treatment until that surgery is performed. My doctors have all assured me this is a very treatable condition.    I’m very optimistic as to the outcome and want to thank everyone who has sent positive thoughts and support. I look forward to going back to work soon”.

The date of the surgery is not decided yet but it has postponed the production of Tierney’s new show, “Parenthood,” by eight weeks. The show is a small-screen adaptation of the 1989 Ron Howard film and would be aired on the NBC network. Previously, it was decided to bring the show on air this fall.

NBC Network series ER has been wrapped up after fifteen successful seasons on April, 2009 with the season finale entitled ‘And in the End…’. During its run, ER managed to become one of the most successful shows of the network. It has not been very long since its cancellation (I must say ‘Rocking End’, instead of cancellation here) and rumors about the spin-off or movie version have started making rounds. Well, nothing is confirmed officially so ‘no comments’.

Anyways, the topic of today’s talk is Parminder Nagra. On ER, she, 33, portrayed the character of Medical Student (later Dr.) Neela Rasgotra. She has become the mama to a baby boy on May 19, 2009. It’s Parminder’s first baby with her husband James Stenson, a photographer. Both got married on January 17, 2009 after seven year long affair. The baby is named Kai David Singh Stenson. As per the words of her representative, the family is doing great.

All her fans knew about her pregnancy as it was written in the storyline of ER. At that time, ER executive producer John Wells said, “We were trying to juggle how that was going to work because she was starting to show. What seemed sort of tragic at first when we talked about it - there was a tremendous feeling of ‘Oh, there’s this one story that we haven’t done’, so it’s actually very exciting”. The episode which brought an end to ER was entitled ‘And in the End‘ and was aired on April 2, 2009. Watching this episode was like saying goodbye to the old friends which we have been with, since the premiere of the series in 1994. The series finale was a two hour long episode, written by executive producer John Wells, and was over loaded with ER type traumas.

The special thing about this episode was the appearance of the Gilmore Girls fame Alexis Bledel. She played the role of a new intern, Dr. Julia Wise, at County General Hospital and after her performance in the episodes; she described the experience as ‘wonderful’ as well as ‘emotional’. Dr. Julia Wise helped in the delivery of the twins which was the most intense part of the episode. The life of the mother was in danger and the devastated father was seen standing outside the emergency room. The other central point of the episode was Dr. Tony Gates dealing with the case of a teenager. Innumerous other things happened and finally ER TV Show shut the doors down after the successful airing of fifteen seasons.

It’s not so easy to say ‘bye’ to a TV show which has been a part of our daily TV schedule for fifteen seasons. Each episode of the series left us with the curiosity to know what would happen the next day? But, now, no next day would come ever but still life has to go on…. Currently running in its season 15, the super hit medical drama ER Tv Show is back in news, and this time it is because of the God among mortals, George Clooney, the Mr. Hollywood himself. Well as soon as the news about Clooney returning to the show spread, the price of 30-second advertisement slots tripled and people were going for multimillion-dollar bids about his return to the show that helped the superstar launch his career. Well, I think that is expected to happen when a star of such huge stature is bound to guest star in one of the most loved shows.

Although much details of the plot, which has been kept a closely guarded secret, are not known it has been reported that George will be returning to the show as the middle-aged married father of twins sometime in March or April. He will be seen playing the role of Dr. Doug Ross on the show where he will also reunite with his former on-screen flame Carol Hathaway, played by Julianna Margulies.

It was earlier speculated that Clooney might be making an appearance in the finale of the season which is supposed to air sometime in April and although it has been confirmed that the man will be making an appearance, the date has not yet been officially declared.

Being one of costliest dramas to be filmed at nearly $12m an episode, ER has set a worrying trend for television drama. Also, if one were to refer to the Nelsen Report, the show has seen a constant downfall from its peak of 27 million in the mid 1990’s to a little more than seven million in the last week of February. But with the appearance of George Clooney, NBC is expecting ER to strike back in a big way and regain the status of being America’s hottest drama. Well, whatever the result, I am eagerly waiting for the Hollywood’s hottest star to reappear on one of my most loved shows.

During its 15 years long run, ER remained as one of the finest dramas of NBC Network and also one of the best loved medical A of television history. ER very intelligently balanced cutting edge medical presentation while adding more brilliant stuff to the show was character interaction and fast paced action. As of now, when we all know that NBC Network has announced that the current season, means the 15^th season of the show, is the last land mark to be touched and there will be no more ER after the 15 season finale.

And, I think that as series is coming to an end so they’re planning to bring back the ones who’ve been a part of the show once and the name which comes to my mind is Alex Kingston. The lady had been a part of ‘ER’ for seven consecutive seasons as a regular star cast member Elizabeth Corday. She departed early in the 2004-05 season. And now, when ER is preparing to close its doors, we’ll again see her as a guest star. I guess in the near future, we’ll see all popular faces of ER that left the drama due to some reasons. The lady will reprise her role on Thursday Jan 15. A little light on the episode she’s supposed to appear on: This episode will center on Neela, who has a recurring dream about trying to save a patient suffering from sickle cell anemia.

As the lady was gone for four successive years, so I think, it’d be hard for her to return to the same space which she held from 1997-2004. But, still I am very excited to see her returning on ‘ER’. Other old star cast members who’re likely to return are: Noah Wyle and Eriq La Salle. La Salle will return as a director.

The latest episode of ‘ER’ season 15 was entitled ‘The High Holiday’ and was aired on December 11, 2008. Have a look at the upcoming episode of the season: Separation Anxiety, Dream Runner, Love Is a Battlefield etc.

ER is back for its 15^th and final season and while most of us fans are still mourning over the death of the creator of the show, Michael Crichton, there is something mighty nice that I would like to share with you guys. Quite a number of original cast members have returned for the final season including Anthony Edwards, who was glad to comment on his experience of coming back to ER after 6 years. Edwards told Reuters “It was really like going back to high school, in the best way. It was like going back to your favorite class and having your favorite teacher. It took about a half an hour — and after about a half an hour, I really felt like I’d never left.”

He agreed to return to the series on the condition that his pay cheque would be donated to the African charity he supports. Now, isn’t it completely disarming? His character Dr. Mark Greene died in 2002, but he will appear in flash back scenes during the final season of the ER. He is using the occasion to raise money for Shoe4Africa, an organization founded in 1995 that promotes AIDS awareness through sports and education.

I find his this gesture extremely touching. Producers Warner Bros. have agreed to donate the $125,000 that they were considering paying to Edwards. Besides Edwards’ money, Steven Spielberg is contributing another $125,000 and “E.R.” executive producer John Wells is adding an extra $50,000.

This $300,000 would be used to build 250 bed hospital in Africa- the biggest children’s clinic in the continent.

Finally, the most awaited fifteenth season of “ER” is here along with the hush hush of emergency room. This time it came with a bad news for the ERs. Viewers got rid of the cliffhanger and long lasting suspense is now over. In the last season’s finale, we saw an explosion in the ambulance. It remained hidden that who among the Pratt and Sam has got injured, as they were trying to save a FBI informant. Though the loss of any of them is sad for the viewers, but it has to happen with the one. So now it’s here, it’s Pratt who got injured.

The season begins with Tony Gates rushing to the explosion scene. There he learns that Pratt is badly injured. When he is rushed back to County, unfortunately he succumbs to his injuries. The role of Mekhi Phifer is over on the show. He was introduced in the season eight of “ER” as an enthusiastic intern. His character was shown as a cocky and over confident doc. He is also known for having timely frictions with his chief resident John Carter. Later on he proved his skills as a smart and swift emergency physician to everybody in the hospital. The entire staff got that attached with him that everyone was unhappy over his forced deputation into isolation ward.

Other than the death of this intern, this season carries another bad news that the season finale will be the series finale. This means the series won’t ever come back. The County General Hospital will never appear on the screen after nine more episodes.

This devastating news has also adversely affected the ratings and viewer ship. The fourteenth season finale closed with attracting 8.39 million viewers. But the fifteenth season’s opening pulled in just 7.9 million viewers. This has remained a good show, so I still believe that the rest of the season will pick up good ratings. Well, we can just hope for the good along with being prepared for the worst.

Hey don’t lose heart due to a little sad opening of the season. The interns are coming back into form steadily. The evidence is upcoming episode of the ER, “Parental Guidance”. The most exciting part of this episode is in lap of Sarah. Fashion bug has bitten her badly. She is now preparing for getting her tongue pierced. She doesn’t care about taking Gates’s permission for that. Strange idea man! People say woman can never keep quite, and even the idea of chopping off their tongue is normally heard over. But this is cool that a woman is herself going to get her tongue pinned up, lol. Anyways, when Gates will know, it is definitely going to cause some flurry among the both. In the beginning of this episode, Dr. Banfield gets into trouble. She’s caught up in a robbery and her life is in danger.

On the other hand, Brenner enjoys win win situation at last. Dubenko is reinstated due to Brenner’s organized protests. Finally a young gymnast visits the County general for treatment after experiencing a bad fall. Let’s see how many of the interns get impressed of this sportsman. But hey! The staff is noticing something strange on the hands of the gymnast’s family. But for me the most exciting part is of Sarah. I am gonna watch this episode only for this reason.

Hey the previous ones were also not bad. In fact the first episode was superb. It was a pretty emotional episode as interns said goodbye with teary eyes to their fellow intern, who dies in a mishap. But still Abby has to treat the others injured despite her grief for a colleague. After all this is called duty. In this episode, the excellent portrayal of a doctor’s life and emotions during duty has been presented. I would like to give the whole credit to the director.

Over all, season opening is fabulous. Let’s see if it can make a mark that can make people remember it for years. Enjoy the season…….

If you are an ER fan, then you must have watched the recent season from series. The new buzz is that ER’s fifteenth season is coming in the end of this September. I downloaded an episode of fourteenth season from here today and the episode is ‘Sky is the limit’. This is my favorite episode from series and that’s why I chose this episode particularly when I came here to watch TV shows. This is the distinct episode of that season and can also be called as a little off beat. Because while watching ER, you feel like you are watching the real hospital and internal official matters and critical cases of patients are the only things, you will see in the whole episode. But this episode is somehow different from others because it carries a flavor of drama in it. In this episode, you will find two doctors falling in love with each other.

Secondly this love affair is secret of the episode. So I won’t disclose it, you will have to watch the episode to know what happens actually?

This is the first episode of this season where you will find something from personal life of a doctor, otherwise we just find promotions, demotions and change of duties etc. On the very same episode, Skye gets appointed as chief of ER

Anyways, not only this episode, actually the whole show is capable to grab my interest. This is quite serious kind of show which provides limited concentration on the personal lives of its interns and patients’ personal lives, and stays in touch with the true duties of a doctor.

Above all, I do like the uniqueness of plot in every episode. In the whole season, you won’t find any two similar episodes or continuation of one matter to the next episode. Of course, this show has some spark and that’s why it ran for fourteen seasons and is ready with fifteenth. Only a few shows are here which can hook up viewers for such a long time. I tried hard to find out some chunks of the upcoming episodes, but it seems that those are extremely confidential and will not be disclosed till the premiere of the season.

So, finally we’ve got some positive signs of season 15 of ER. It is coming this fall but unfortunately, this will be the last season of 22 Emmy awards winner show. What to do?? When, you like some show and even fifteen seasons are not enough?

What I like most about the show is that every time I watch an episode, it enhances my temptation to watch the next one, means ever-increasing curiosity. Until I had not started watching this show, I was not ready to believe that a medical drama can bound you to this extent.

With its fifteenth season, the ER will welcome four new aspirants- Appleby, Julian Morris, Emily Rose and Victor Rasuk; all will be as recurring characters and will play interns at County General.

Appleby and Morris (Cry Wolf) will play siblings. Appleby’s character is smart and she is very eager and has a willingness to devour whatever she can, in terms of skill and knowledge. On the other hand, her brother (portrayed by Morris) thinks he can get by his charm and good look alone.

Among the other two, Emily Rose will act as a control freak, who loves to control things on her own. Victor Rasuk will be the native New Yorker who is often seen on mobile with his newly wed wife. The executive producer David Zabel says that the story line of finale will keep track record of the new doctors along with the ongoing stories from the history of ER.

I am sure that ER will definitely end in the best possible way. After the series finale, we do hopes for a spin off or a movie, like many other hit TV shows.

I do love ER and I am really a little bit disappointed as ER season 14 finale is over.

On this episode, a drunken patient is admitted to ER and the actions of that patient endanger everyone at County. Pratt is still having nightmares of becoming Chief of ER so takes a step towards becoming Chief.

Gates is doubtful about his future with Sam. Finally, there was an unexpected encounter between Kovac and Dr. Moretti. As the season 14 finale comes to an end, guest appearance Steve Buscemi brings havoc on ER. Here’re my fave lines from the episode:

Drunk patient: Listen up, everybody. I’m the last guy you want in the ER.

Abby: My marriage is over.

Well, season ends with a cliffhanger and I really don’t like cliffhangers. They’re interesting but they also let you to wait for a long period and I can’t wait.

I do have my own speculations about next seasons. But, I’ll wait and see if I am right or not….No info is here regarding season 15, which will resolve all the cliffhangers left by season 14 finale. So, looking forward to have some updates!

Happy Birthday to our favorite ER star Erik Palladino. Erik is playing Dr. Dave Malucci on series.

He was born to Peter Palladino and Queenie Palladino and is the youngest of 3 sons. When he was at 12, he saw Robert De Niro’s performance in Raging Bull and decided to become an actor. So, he joined a children’s repertory company.

Along with his brother Chris, he performed in rock band named Mo More Happy Faces. Erik graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 1991. He debut his TV career with hit series ER (watch it) on which he played Dr. Dave. Okay!!! A little bit about ER. ER season 14 is being aired and this May will also be rocking with latest ER episodes.
